In its latest special issue which has recently caught fire Apple has revealed
Apple has acquired next generation OLED technology for the iPhone 14 Pro models from Samsung, and surprisingly, Samsung has not included tech in its new Galaxy S22 range
The tech under discussion is Samsung’s (M12 OLED) material set which includes red, green and blue pixel duplicates, hosts and key elements in the OLED display. It brings better display performance and color accuracy and, controversially, Samsung has completely abandoned it for its flagship S22 smartphones, which The Elec claims was a cost-cutting decision
As a result, Samsung released the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S22 Plus with the M11, the same technology used in last year’s models, while the Galaxy S22 was left behind with the M10 for the first time in 2020. Used by Galaxy S20 range and it is not. The only shocking revelation for iPhone fans is the reversal of recent history
In 2020, Samsung launched the first commercial LTPO variable refresh rate (OLED display) in the market which made the high refresh rate much more power efficiency. As a result, Apple had to delay its Promotion ‘iPhone display until the launch of the iPhone 13 Pro model at the end of 2021. Now, the iPhone is ahead of the curve
For its part, Samsung is expected to use M12 OLED panels in its next-generation Galaxy Foldable devices that will launch in the fall but will be breaking new ground for iPhones mainstream smartphones. ۔ Needless to say, we already know about the standard models of the iPhone 14, this technology will almost certainly be exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro models.
Would that be enough to convince Apple fans to choose the iPhone 14 Pro model, despite changing their polarizing eye shape notch ?
