The brand new Kia EV6 won the award for Best Electric Car for 2022 at the European Car of the Year Awards by a panel of leading automotive journalists from 33 countries.
It was originally nominated for the top award among the more than 60 vehicles that debuted in 2021. The thugs had restricted the entry to seven strong shortlists in November 2021, of which six were electric vehicles. Following its shortlisting, the EV6 won the award over Hyundai IONIQ 5, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Skoda Enyaq iV Cupra Born, Renault Mégane E Tech and Peugeot 308.
