Over the past two decades, the Toyota Prius has become a household name around the world thanks to its promising reliability, decent comfort, practicality and excellent fuel economy. Not considered a desirable car due to a new look, upgraded powertrain, high-tech features and increased performance, the 5th generation (Prius) looks like an attractive new prospect. In terms of styling, however, the new Prius has gone far ahead of its quirky predecessor.
Official images show a sharp front end with a chiseled bonnet and bumper Sleek headlights with (U-shaped LED DRLs) A hunkered-down stance and lower windshield space allow for a sporty look. and flares around the rear tires that convey a subtle aggression in styling. Larger and redesigned wheels also add to the appeal.
The rear end features a classic downward-sloping hatch that includes a central taillight strip.The taillights are slim and sharp as they span the width of the car. Drips on both sides Interior The interior also features a stylish cockpit and dash design that includes a digital instrument cluster with a large infotainment system and tactile buttons for various commands. The interior comes with black tones and complements the integrated instrument panel and seat stitching that strikes a balance between sportiness and sophistication.Toyota will reveal the full list of features after the car’s official launch.
Performance New comes with Toyota’s first 2.0-liter plug-in hybrid system that combines a high-performance Dynamic Force engine and lithium-ion batteries to produce 221 horsepower (hp). allowing it to sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 6.7 seconds
The new model has a 13.6 kWh battery instead of the previous model’s 8.8kWh pack, although exact fuel economy is currently unknown.Toyota claims it’s 50 percent better than the current generation. The system will also allow for better performance with poor grip on road surfaces.
Price and Launch Toyota is expected to officially launch the all-new Prius next year, given that the new generation will have all the latest features, a better powertrain and better styling.
